Police Stop Results in Death of Parolee

Albany, New York - Accusations of cold-blooded murder are being charged at two officers who killed a 19-year old man after a short struggle on the night of December 29th.

Police chief Steven Krokoff  opened a news conference about the subsequent event to the public, but within a short amount of time it became a shouting match.  One of the people, a woman, yelled "They're killing our kids" while City Council President Carolyn McLaughlin tried to get the crowd to calm down.



The victim, 19-year-old Nahcream Moore, was wanted for skipping parole. Police officers say while taking Moore into custody he saw him pick up a firearm while he fought with a police officer.

The driver of the SUV, 20-year-old Willisa Marshall, said she never saw Moore reach for a weapon of any kind.  Instead she said the officers "tussled" with him on the sidewalk as soon as he got out of the passenger side."

"He did what they asked and got out the car. And once he got out the car they tussled with him," Marshall said. "Two seconds later gunshots start going off." She said believes Moore was shot in the face while he was on the ground, but admits to not seeing it actually happen.  She added "They turned him over and shot him in the face.  I heard it and I knew it. That's where he was at when the shots when off. They brought him down to the ground.  I didn't see any gun and if he did have one, I'm sure he didn't approach them with it."


Marshall said about the stop, conducted by officers Jason Kelly and Gregory Mulligan, that "The police did not pull us over. We did not get chased by no police," Marshall said. "We was not even in motion. The car was not even in drive."

His friends say they don't believe he would've been armed with a gun and one of them said he believed there is a cover-up.


Jovaughn Morant, a friend of Moore's since he was 13, said about the incident "They're saying he did something wrong and they shot him." When asked if he thinks his friend had a gun, he answered "I want to see a gun."

Woman Loses Her Baby Due to Police Brutality

Seattle - After being pepper-sprayed and attacked by Seattle police, Jennifer Fox, a pregnant woman who joined the Occupy Movement, had a miscarriage. Homeless and pregnant, she felt it was her duty for her and her child's future to join the protesters.

When the police started to move in and attack – an unfortunately all-to-familiar scenario now – she said to the police “I am pregnant, I am pregnant. Let methrough. I am trying to get out.”

Instead of letting her go the police started to hit her stomach, step on her, pepper-spray her face, and push a bike into her.

Everything seemed to be fine until Sunday when she “started getting sick, cramps started, and I felt like I was going to pass out.” A trip to the hospital revealed she was having a miscarriage, possibly due to the kick and pepper-spray that affected her child.

This took place during the same protest which saw an elderly woman hit with the spray as well.

She said she is currently looking for a lawyer to take her case.

Hopefully one of the people she sues will be Seattle police spokesman Jeff Kappel who said “pepper spray is not age specific. No more dangerous to someone who is 10 or someone who is 80.”

Looks like you're wrong Jeff, as you traumatized a mother and caused her to miscarry.

Cops Win NYSE Battle, But Will Lose War

New York City - The police won a fight against Occupy Wall Street when they prevented the group from shutting down the New York Stock Exchange.

By barricading “the narrow streets around Wall Street” and using “batons to push protesters onto the sidewalk as they marched through the area,” they prevented the general strike from occurring as planned. With their identification and police on their side, they walked into the building as protesters, separated from them with barricades, chanted “We are the 99 percent.” To the police were the chants "You're sexy, you're blue, now take off that riot suit."

The real winner is all of this however is the people who work at the NYSE. While police fight protesters, they are flaunting the fact they are getting way with their crimes to our faces. The police are clearly paid by someone to do all of these things. When the cops stop arresting and abusing people in the OWS movement this will not go away.
