Denver – The Listera virus is
continuing its outbreak and claims a 29th life. The
victim is the eighth death in Colorado. According to the Centers for
Disease Control 139 people either died or were sickened in 28 states.
The reason why new listeria outbreaks
are occurring weeks after they were pulled from the shelves is its
symptoms may not show up for three months.
Some of the other deaths happened in
Indiana, Maryland, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Texas,
and Wyoming, Reuter adds.
